The short version

I started as a painter. Then life made me a chemist.

When my son was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease, I needed answers the shelf couldn't give me. My own reactive skin pushed me further. Then a right-side brain stroke in 2021 rearranged everything — my memory, my process, my pace. What stayed was the instinct to make things that bring people back to themselves.

My mother dreamed of being a soap maker. She passed from pancreatic cancer before she could. Skinvig carries that dream forward — small-batch, vegan, cruelty-free skincare and haircare, built around consultations instead of guesswork. Every formula is tested on real skin, from toddlers to adults, normal to hypersensitive.

But skin was never the whole story. I'm a loctician. A singer. A storyteller. A jewelry maker. A painter who puts original work on bags you carry, not walls you stare at. Everything I create — the art, the skincare, the botanical blends, the somatic jewelry, the nightly stretch group — is part of one ecosystem I call the chill arc.
